  4. Marlene and family, I didn’t know your family well but I know there are no words that will ever make you feel better. Please try to take some comfort in knowing he is always around and will never leave you. Tom and Rosemary, my heart is breaking for you all. I hope you will forgive me for not being able to be with you right now but know you can feel how much love I’m sending with prayers. Love you much

With deepest sympathy to Marlene and the Slyford family on the passing of Doug on Tuesday,he was a great friend and a wonderful human being who cared for people from all walks of life, even getting on or off his bus.The last time I visited Doug he said he was doing it his way, and he did.The man was a class act.and I for one will truly miss him.Rest In Peace Doug .

  7. Doug was always a pleasure to run into on the bus or at a friends house. He was always kind to me, Mike, Hailey and Adelaide. A real hard working, no non-sense guy. Thinking of his family during this time. Rest in peace Doug.
