It’s with great sadness that we announce the tragic passing of our father, Edward "Ed" Zeagman, at Credit Valley Hospital on Thursday, June 20th, 2019, at the age of 63 after a five year long battle against prostate cancer. Loving father of Shane Zeagman and Melody Zeagman, son and daughter of Andrea Zeagman (nee Waldman). Cherished brother of Maureen Bonello; Lynne Fotherby (Brian Fotherby); Brian Zeagman; Sharon Cyr (Mike Cyr); Donna Zeagman-Duipmans; Laurie Ann Stroud (Keith Stroud), uncle of many nieces and nephews. Treasured son of Dolly Zeagman and the late Gerry Zeagman. Born Saturday, November 5th, 1955, Ed was a coach, a mentor, a manager, and an advocate of organized baseball & softball in the city of Mississauga. He was also a lifetime supporter of the Toronto Argonauts and rock & roll fan. He attended St. Lawrence Grade School; Neil McNeil Highschool and York University where he majored in Psychology. He retired as a Field Manager for Direct Energy Small Commercial division. The family would like to thank Doctor Ahmad Muinuddin and the staff at Trillium Health Partners - Queensway for their outstanding care, treatment and facilities, as well as the staff in the oncology palliative care unit at Credit Valley Hospital including Doctor Laura Harild and Patricia "Trish" Lymburner, both for their exceptional care of Ed and support for the family A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 26th, at Paul O’Connor Funeral Home, 1939 Lawrence Ave. East, Toronto Ontario, M1R 2Y8 between the hours of 3pm - 5pm and 7pm - 9pm Funeral Mass on Thursday, June 27th at 10am in St. Lawrence Church, 2210 Lawrence Ave. East, Toronto Ontario, M1P 2P9 officiated by Reverend Roy Francis Farrell. The burial following the Mass will be held at York Cemetery, 169 Beecroft Road, Toronto Ontario, M2N 5Z5. Those who so desire may make charitable donations to the CRC and Community Food Centre in Regent Park where Ed loved to volunteer. You can donate at or by phone at 416-363-4234 Ext. 238 and speak with Judy White, or by mail to CRC, 40 Oak Street, Toronto, ON M5A 2C6 (please fill out the pdf form on their website if you choose to donate via this route).
